Vivian Okpala attended Federal Government College Wukari, Taraba State. Also, earned her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Health Education and Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.

Following her postgraduate studies, Vivian lectured in the Department of Public Health and Health Promotion at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where she contributed to teaching, mentoring students, and advancing public health awareness through academic instruction and community engagement.
